EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS THROUGH BEAUTY, with inclusivity and INTEGRITY, JUST A HAIR AT A TIME.
It all began…
From a young age, when Barbie’s and American Girl Dolls placed as my muse. I taught myself how to braid in the fourth grade. This came in handy, as I soon became my traveling softball teams game day hairdresser. After a small derailment for advanced studies, achieving a B.A. in Music with a focus in Percussion, I received my cosmetology license at 23. I am a proud Aveda Alum, from the Aveda Fredric's Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. That very same year I completed my reciprocity for Washington state and moved across the country.
I worked at Habitude Salon & Day Spa in both the Ballard and Fremont neighborhoods of Seattle for six and a half years. There I completed two advanced training programs before stepping into a role as Team Lead and Aveda Ambassador. This extensive experience has allowed me to refine my craft, becoming proficient at handling all hair types, textures, and lengths. I am a lifetime learner and committed to continuing education. This commitment ensures my continuous knowledge of the most health-conscious and superior products, techniques, and tools in the industry.
From alternative and expressive, to natural and blended, I am passionate about infusing a touch of modernity into timeless looks, making them not just stylish but also approachable for everyone. My goal is to bring a sweet blend of professionalism and innovation to the wearable art of hairstyling, delivering experiences that leave guests feeling both pampered and empowered. Come as you are to my chair, and we'll collaborate to make something great.

The sidekick I take everywhere, Joey, is my 14-year-old Bichon Frisée. We first crossed paths in April 2020, and from the moment we met, it was clear that we shared an unbreakable bond. A family friend in Indiana needed to rehome him, and after six weeks of getting to know each other, Joey made the journey with me across the country, and we've been inseparable ever since. Joey has a love for life, especially when it involves food—he’s always sniffing around for something delicious—and he can often be found napping on the softest fabrics he can find. He never likes being left behind and is always ready for an adventure. I carry him in a backpack, and together, we explore the Pacific Northwest. His favorite treats are any kind of meat (of course!) and cucumber slices.

Originally from Indiana, where cornfields stretch as far as the eye can see, I am the eldest of three siblings—blessed with a younger sister and brother. Our bond is incredibly close-knit, and growing up, we shared a love for exploring the Midwest, spending countless hours outdoors, and enjoying time on the water. While I’m now the only one living away, I make it a priority to visit my family often. Whether they come to the Pacific Northwest to see me or we meet in different destinations across the country, our time together is always special. One of our favorite traditions is catching up over a game of Euchre.

I hold a B.A. in Music with a focus in Percussion from Adrian College in Michigan. As a percussionist, I’ve mastered a wide range of instruments—essentially anything that can be played by hand or with a mallet/stick. Among them, the Marimba holds a special place as my favorite, offering both challenge and beauty in its sound. While my playing has transitioned to more of a personal passion, I recently had the exciting opportunity to join Formation Wind Band, Seattle’s first all-women’s wind ensemble. It’s an empowering and inspiring group, and I encourage you to check us out!

I have a passion for exploring new places that have the power to broaden my horizons. Whether it's a spontaneous road trip or a planned journey, I relish every opportunity to hit the open road, immersing myself in the local culture and savoring the unique flavors of regional cuisine. One of my long-term goals is to visit all 50 states in my lifetime—and yes, I’m proud to say I’ve already crossed off both Hawaii and Alaska. My next big adventure is to venture abroad for the first time, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my travels.
